Carpooling

Coming by bike

You’ll have our undying admiration if you come by bike 🙂

Convoys are being set up! Don’t hesitate to start one from your town 😉 You can join the one in Brittany and the one in Paris, the others are being organised!

Practicalities:

  • Suitable cycle parking and an equipped self-repair workshop are planned on site.
  • Recharging points for electric bikes should be available (contact us to book one)
  • Bivouacs will be available for the last night within a radius of around 40-50km of the site.
  • Try to plan your return journey in advance if you are only cycling to the destination (limited space for bikes on trains: if possible, bring a cover + bike dismantling or a bike carrier that can take your bike on the return journey, etc.).

Take the bike shuttle from the station!

On vous prête un vélo et on vous prend les bagages, il ne vous reste qu’à  pédaler sur 10 km au travers la suisse normande…

Getting here by train

The main train station is Briouze. Coaches will be available to take you to the site from Briouze at no extra cost (no booking necessary).

The other station (much further away) is Argentan. From there you can:

  • Take a train or bus (timetables) to Briouze.
  • Try to find a car-share on mobicoop.
  • Use the ‘stop / taxi’ area at the station exit.

Coming by car

🚗 Suggest or find a carpool to come

1 – First check that the journey you are going to make is not already offered on the carpooling website. If it is, contact the person well in advance to make the best possible arrangements. Otherwise, publish your own advert.

2- If your car is not full, offer to carpool from Argentan station to the site.

3 – You can also pass through Argentan on your way in: a ‘stop/taxi’ area will be set up at the station exit so that people arriving there can wait for cars.
